Michel'le Denise Toussant,   known mononymously as  Michel'le , is an American  R&B  singer and songwriter. She is best known for her songs from the late–1980s to early–1990s. Michel’le Toussant is an American R&B recording artist who will forever hold a place in music history as one of the most important female vocalists during the " golden-age" of West Coast Hip-Hop. A native of Compton, it was clear that Michel’le had a unique vision in regards to merging street-influenced urban culture with sultry vocals and powerful lyrics.
